SugarGuard Herbal Tea from Leung's Cha is a layered herbal and floral blend built around guava leaves.
Guava leaves give a mild, slightly earthy base that is brightened by green tea and a bouquet of botanicals: chrysanthemum, rose, sophora flower, honeysuckle, hibiscus, dandelion leaf and chamomile. Hibiscus adds a gentle tartness and a rosy colour, while chrysanthemum, honeysuckle and chamomile bring soft floral notes. The result is a fragrant, refreshing cup that can be enjoyed hot or iced, with no added sweetness.
Steep about 1 teaspoon (or one serving) in 250 ml of water just off the boil for 4–5 minutes, then strain. For iced tea, brew double strength and pour over ice. Contains green tea. Store sealed in a cool, dry place.
